Opus 26 Logically,
Logically, if we can cheer for our favourite football teams, why can't we cheer the same or more for Him ?

If we can say we love Him, why can't we show it through the words that come our from our mouth or the things that we do everyday?

If we can say that we wanna glorify Him, why can't we serve in the area where we are placed at ?

If we can say that we care, why are there still people living in the streets ?

Aren't we suppose to be like Jesus ?

To be honest, its been a long time since i've felt this way. To hate what is going on around the world. The poverty, the loss, the cries, the pain, the misery. This world is cruel. I hate that other people are suffering when they shouldn't. I especially hate the fact that people are expoilting people.

Ok. Probably i'm being too emotional. But if this feeling goes on for a very long time, surely there's gotta be a reason behind it.

Yes, there is. It took me long enough to realise that the world needs Him. The world is really in need of Him. So many things are happening out there. Suicidal rates rising. Depression among the younger generation. Families breaking up. Political issues.

We are here for a reason. Not to hate but to love. Through Him. To love like Him. And not to give up on that. Because He did not give up on us. And thats... Grace.

Opus 25 THE Wonder of the world
Current status : I feel like i can end up with a sorethroat at any time. Throat feels weird. And i have a tiny mouth ulcer on my upper lip. BUT i have a sudden craving to eat the last packet Roller Coaster Potato Rings (CHEESE flavoured)... Should i sin by eating it or should i not ?

Okay la..i don't think this is a proper punya Proper post but yea.. ENJOY ! Hah !

I haven't been watching Naruto for a very very long time. And i don't think i should watch it until Finals are over. But anyhow, Kakashi still rocks la.. rite Jasmyn ? *high five*

Long ago, i hated pork. With the exception of Bah Kut Teh. I'l try to avoid pork no matter what. Even when mom cooks it. I just hated it. But i love pork now. I don't even mind a single bit to be a Pork Ambassador. How did that happened ? I'll show you how..

THIS is what happened. Pic courtesy of Nicholas W. And the genius behind this is non other than my friend, Lydia. This is Jumbo PORK Sausages with PRUNES stuffed in the middle, wrapped around with BACON ! I hope there's pork in heaven. Lol ! In Nicholas' dictionary :
100% PORK AFFAIR.

Aiya ! I'll just go straight to the point la.. There's only one thing thats better than pork in the world of cuisine.. and that is *drum rolls*

MORE PORK !
(Ying Wei n Nicholas shouting YEAH! )

And the best place to find more pork is Nambawan at Old Klang Road.
For a better review of THE place, you can find it at Nick's blog over here or Darren.H's blog over here and here and here

Lemme describe to you what you're missing out if you don't click on those links:
Crump Pork Chop
Roasted Pork Belly
Stone Charboiled Pork Belly
BBQ Pork Ribs (the best!)

Oh ! The blessings in life.. :)))

p.s. : can we go eat pork again ???

Opus 24 Gratitude
Okay. I haven't been updating for more than a month now. SORRY ! But yeah.. Blog pms la.. Sorry.. XD Sometimes i've things to blog about.. but i don't know how to blog about it. Sometimes i just have nothing to blog about ! Heh.

I've been reflecting a lot for the past few weeks and began to be more grateful for the things i have: -For the classmates that He has blessed me with especially the past few weeks.
-For the black car that my parents let me drive up and down between home and college and church.
-For the youth that i'm serving in.
-For quite an awesome brother whom i can irritate (and vice versa)
-For a mom and dad
-For my singlehood (Someone shout 'Amen ! ' ) :D
-For the youths in FGA Cheras who never fail to be an encouragement with their faith and BLOG !
-For having a great God who, up till today, has never fail to surprise me in things in life. And in full honesty, i still CANNOT fully understand Him. But i guess i would NEVER be able to understand Him because if i did, I would be a god (which is obviously impossible).. Isn't He interesting ? ;)
-For the opportunity to actually be able to further my studies after high school in a college. This is one part of my life i call a miracle. Ask me in MSN if you'd like to know more details.
-For my wonderful bed which has been faithful to me all these year.. and my pillow. Never fail to give me comfort or for me to hug. Bless you, dear pillow and bed.
-For the air i breathe ! I'm basically thankful that i'm alive although i do question my existence from time to time. But i guess i'm wanted by Him for a reason which i'm suppose to find out throughout the course of my existence.
-For the patience that He's been giving me lately.. if not, i would have blown up like a balloon ! Hahaha..
- etc

Yea.. Hmmm..
Yea lor..
Thank you all for the calls and the smses and the songs and the Facebook msges and the pork affair and the pancake/cake surprise and the lunch :) You people rock !

Nah ! I've turned into a more mature 19 year old, not 20 XD

Opus 23 My Personality Type : IT
This is quite interesting. Came across this link from my bro's blog. Its a personality test. And this is my result :

Independent Thinkers
are analytical and witty persons. They are normally self-confident and do not let themselves get worked up by conflicts and criticism. They are very much aware of their own strengths and have no doubts about their abilities. People of this personality type are often very successful in their career as they have both competence and purposefulness. Independent Thinkers are excellent strategists; logic, systematics and theoretical considerations are their world. They are eager for knowledge and always endeavour to expand and perfect their knowledge in any area which is interesting for them. Abstract thinking comes naturally to them; scientists and computer specialists are often of this type.

Independent Thinkers are specialists in their area. The development of their ideas and visions is important to them; they love being as flexible as possible and, ideally, of being able to work alone because they often find it a strain having to make their complex trains of thought understandable to other people. Independent Thinkers cannot stand routine. Once they consider an idea to be good it is difficult to make them give it up; they pursue the implementation of that idea obstinately and persistently, also in the face of external opposition.

Independent Thinkers are not the type who easily comes out of his shell. Speaking about their emotional life is also not one of their strong points. Anyway, social relationships are not particularly important to them; they are happy with just a few, close friends who find it easy to share their intellectual world. They find it difficult to establish new ties. In love, they need a lot of space and independence but this does not mean that their partner is not important to them. Independent Thinkers often make a cool and reserved impression on others; but this impression is deceptive: they can hardly bear it if people close to them should reject them. They prefer a harmonious, balanced relationship with a partner who shares their interests and with whom they can realise their visions.

Adjectives which describe your type: introverted, theoretical, logical, planning, rational, independent, intellectual, self-confident, analytical, structured, dogged, witty, resolute, self-critical, visionary, inventive, independent, unsociable, reserved, nonconformist, quiet, visionary, honest, demanding, hardworking.

Well, this is partly true and untrue. Oh well !

Opus 22 Joseph The Overcomer

A presentation by the Performing Arts Ministry

JOSEPH THE OVERCOMER.

Despised by his brothers, Joseph is sold off to slavery after almost being killed by them, saved only by his brothers' greed for money. Thinking that he was dead, Joseph's father, Jacob once again mourned the loss of his favourite son, just as he had done when Rachel, his most beloved wife, died prematurely.

Far away in Egypt, Joseph's life of misery began. Caaptured, beaten, torn... Will he survive? Can he overcome his situation? Come and find out how one man's struggle to survive saved a nation. How one man's fight of faith carried him through the adversities that he faced.

Opus 21 Random Pictures
Sorry for the blurred pic. The dog is moving all the time. But yes, as you can see, this dog is having its bath in the sink. My uncle is bathing it. So cute rite.. ;) After that, my uncle used a hair dryer on it.. And yes, i'm amused the whole time.. Cos i dun have a dog that i can bath it in the sink.
OH! This cat hor.. it was so nice at first. Big eyes, rubbing ur legs, meowing and purring all the way.. It sleeps on my mom's car !! Almost every day its there. ( Mom is abit unhappy cos cat scratches all over the car). Then it started following my mom up to our condo unit. Entering the lift with my mom n all that. After that it followed my dad. Then my dad started feeding the cat. So, every now and then this cat will take the lift up to 8th floor where i live. No, it doesn't have the height to press the lift buttons but it gets out at whichever floor the lift stops at and find its way up to my place.. It jumped and climbed to my room window a few times too ! Some times, it will also curl itself up on the floor mat outside my hse and sleep. So clever rite.. ? I was quite friendly with it up till the time it tried to bite and scratch me.. Yea.. my love for cats decreased significantly after that.. My dream to have a pet cat in the future is gone too. *poof* I want my Siberian Husky :D

Owh owh owh ! Made this for Mei Kim's birthday quite awhile ago.. i didn't know wad to make.. all i know i have a lot colour papers and that flower paper puncher.. Then it ended up like that lor.. I hope she like it..

These two pics rite.. its the SAME bird. Jas folded it using Halls sweet wrapper. Pro rite ?? :D Then Darren made its beak stuck to the side of the table we were sitting at.. Terrible lo.. But then again, so cool rite ! It can get stuck wan.. Hahahahaha.. This happened in class recently btw.. *im gonna miss these two ppl in class*

This is a tissue made boat.. special rite ? ;) Darren n Jas said im in the wrong course.. Soon after that, they poured water to sink my boat.. :( *i miss them already*

One is older than me and i'm older than the other one :D

I'll be back with a some pictures of coconut tree drawings.. Wait for it ! :D

Opus 20 THAT Time
It is that time of the month.... again. And its late.

Girls will probably know what i'm talking about more than guys. Cos they have more experience..

When that time of the month comes, it is not heaven. It is nature.

And for a person called melody.. she'll go cranky and crankier and crankier-er..

And she'll start questioning why is nature like that..

And she'll want to sleep all day. And forget about the world. Even if homework is due tomorrow, she'll just ignore it because all she wants and needs is her beautiful pillow and bed. It is the only time the unbearable pain is forgetten. ( Exception clauses attached )

And she will wanna grab hold of a pillow and hug it and occasionally squeeze it when the pain becomes more than unbearable..

Oh ! Did i mention that those chemical stuff in her called the Hormones are 'fluctuating'.. ( can someone gimme a better word ? Fluctuating is all i can think of at this hour. )

And trust me when i say that hormonal imbalance will cause a catastrophy at any point of those first three days...

But its okay.. she's still trying to figure out how to control that catastrophy and to reduce the effect onto the people around her to a minimal level.. This is work in progress. So, its okay to not ignore her. She won't bomb you. She's done it before. But she won't now. Trust me :)

Hormonal imbalance causes a whole lot of other stuff which i wouldn't wanna mention here. So if u wanna find that out, go google it.. My friend taught me "if dunno.. Google". Thus, Dunno = Google.

And why am i talking like im not melody ?

Because i'm her proxy.

Who am i ?

I am Su Ann without a dash or ANY 'e'. ( People tend to spell it as Sue Anne or Su Anne or Su-Ann )

-.-

la la la
